Description

Occupying 3,000 acres in the Laurel Highland Mountains of southwestern Pennsylvania, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is home to 36 holes of championship golf unlike any other.

The two courses here provide a visible distinction in design. Mystic Rock, a par-72 7,533-yard Pete Dye course, is named after the natural rock outcroppings along the course and features elevation changes, deep bunkers, and undulating greens. Nemacolin Woodlands' original golf course, the Links Course, is significantly shorter at 6,643 yards from the tips for a par of 70 and is a more Scottish links-style in design.

Originally established as a private game reserve in 1968, the property was transformed in 1987 to a world-class resort, which today includes a chateau-style hotel, conference center, full-service spa, equestrian center, Shooting Academy, Driving Academy, and Kidz Club facility.
