Oki Golf, a collection of 11 premier Puget Sound golf courses, will unveil a new mobile web application on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Seattle Golf Show. The free site brings many features of Oki Golf’s main website — launched last year — to the mobile space. Users can book tee times and invite friends, connect with other golfers, post scores, and track their golf activities. The main Oki Golf website introduced these features while also allowing users to join groups with other users based on similar skill level and interests and view blogs and videos from Oki Golf professionals.

“Customers are more connected than ever before in this era of smart phones,” said Nancy Cho, president and CEO of Oki Golf. “With the website and mobile application, users have one hub to communicate with their existing golf buddies and to find a whole new community of golfers. They can connect with golfers with similar skill levels and preferences, join playing groups and easily fill foursomes at all of our courses.”

Visiting www.okigolf.com through smart phone internet browsers will redirect users to the mobile web application. Users can connect with other golfers, access special offers, book tee times and track their Oki Golf Players Card activity. The mobile website also includes a portfolio with information, course tours, and rates for all of Oki Golf’s 11 premier courses.

Through the website and mobile option, users will be able to book a tee time for an exclusive complimentary golf day to kick off the spring golf season on Sunday, March 11. Reservations will be available for any Oki Golf course on a first come, first served basis and can be made online only.

“March 11th will be our official start to spring golf season at the Oki Golf courses this year and we are looking forward to thanking our guests with a complimentary golf day,” added Cho. “It’s a great excuse to take out the clubs and work to get your game back in shape.”

In celebration of the mobile launch, users who sign up for a profile at www.OkiGolf.com on their computer by May 31 will receive $10 off their next round. Golfers who create a profile at Oki Golf’s booth at the Seattle Golf Show will be entered for a chance to win a foursome of golf at Newcastle’s Coal Creek course.

Visitors to the Seattle Golf Show can find Oki Golf at booths 314 and A-8. The show runs Feb. 10-12 at CenturyLink Field Events Center. Admission is $14 for adults and $5 for children ages 13-17; kids age 12 and younger are free.
